OUR "LAPTOP YORKIES™" ARE A TRADITION OF FINE PETS!

Yorkie parents and fanciers since 1974, YorkieManor is not a kennel, but a family passion. We breed quality Yorkshire Terriers in our home in Central Florida near Disney World and Busch Gardens. We are very selective, and breed champion bloodlines to conform to the AKC Yorkshire Terrier Standard. Since "teacups" is not a size recognized by the AKC, we don't use this term, but will offer puppies that are sometimes smaller than the standard size. During their weaning, we train our puppies to lead, groom, travel and sleep in a carrier. Our Yorkies have wonderful temperaments, loving dispositions, and are socialized with children and other pets in our home. We don't offer our Yorkies to breeders, as they are pets only - raised to be healthy, playful, long-life companions for good homes.

OUR BREEDING PROGRAM IS OUR COMMITMENT TO HEALTH!

Our conscientious breeding program was developed by a college trained veterinary animal scientist. Our breeding is specifically designed to combine the best qualities of the Yorkshire Terrier. We produce QUALITY offspring from reputable and proven lineage. We do not use line breeding or inbreeding. Our breeding strives for hybrid vigor in gene matching, to avoid health pitfalls, and preserve the integrity of the breed. Our Yorkshire Terriers are not only from CHAMPION BLOODLINES, but they are carefully selected for breeding as they are known to come from healthy bloodlines that produce Yorkshire Terrier size, health, temperament, color, form and fitness. Our bloodlines include famous Yorkshire Terrier champions, including the only Yorkshire Terrier to ever win Best In Show at Westminster. Our Yorkshire Terriers receive the finest of professional veterinary care, family socializing, daily exercise, training, feeding and pampering.

A great dog deserves a great owner, so we are just as selective of our owners as we are our Yorkshire Terriers. A good pet owner is the key to making any pet ownership a life-long SUCCESS. Owning a Yorkshire Terrier is a long-term commitment that should be carefully thought out by the responsible owner and their family, but we also know that things happen -- so WE ARE THERE TO HELP.

Through support of scientific research, the animal sciences, selective breeding, and the AKC standard, YorkieManor works to improve the Yorkshire Terrier breed. Through animal advocacy, YorkieManor supports legislation and regulation to prevent cruelty to all animals, including the Yorkshire Terrier.
